However, several factors such as the use of antibiotics, a diet rich in sugars, hormonal contraceptives and stress can alter this balance, predisposing to dysbiosis, vaginitis and candidiasis .
Vaginosis and Bacterial Vaginitis
Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is characterized by a reduction in lactobacilli and the proliferation of anaerobic bacteria such as Gardnerella vaginalis , which raise the pH and promote infection. It can be asymptomatic or cause abnormal discharge, bad odor, and itching.
Bacterial vaginitis is a further imbalance that leads to inflammation, with symptoms similar to BV, but caused by aerobic bacteria.

Floril Bio can be taken in variable cycles based on the state of the infection. The recommended dosage is 2 capsules per day , preferably away from meals.
In general, it is recommended to take it for at least 10 consecutive days , especially in the presence of symptoms attributable to vulvovaginal candidiasis. 1 pack (20 capsules) covers a 10-day cycle .
In more severe or recurrent cases , the cycle can be continued for up to 20 or 30 days, and then – under medical advice – a vaginal swab test can be performed to assess remission.
If the swab is still positive, it is possible to continue or repeat the cycle in agreement with the gynecologist.
For women subject to frequent relapses , Floril Bio can also be used in a preventative cyclical manner, for example 1 cycle of 10–20 days every 1-2 months , especially in the periods most at risk (post cycle, post antibiotic, travel, stress).
